Science Day – Wednesday 31/01/24 (12pm – 1pm)

Scoil Chualann will host a Science Day on 31/01/24 from 12pm-1pm. The children will be exhibiting science experiments, or if they prefer some kind of STEM related model. This exhibition is for parents of children in the school only if you would like to visit.

It is intended that the children will have time to research and choose their project in school and also have time to create a display poster explaining the project. The children will have to prepare and gather the parts of the project at home and for this reason they do not have homework until the Science day. The children can work on their own or with a partner and can do one experiment/project or more than one if they are relatively simple and they would like to do so. If you or your child have any other questions or queries the class teacher will be able to answer these.

There are plenty of suitable sample experiments and resources available at the following link:

We look forward to seeing you on the day!
